Searching the Local MLS(s)
While this site is dedicated to bringing FSBO's and Buyers together, a Buyer may not find the right home here. In an effort to assist those Buyers, we have included a Search page enabling Buyers to directly search the thousands of homes available through the Professional Real Estate community - the Multiple Listing Services.
To perform a search, simply click the "Search the Local MLS" link at the bottom of this page. There are several basic fields you can customize, such as city/town, price range, number of bedrooms, etc. Once you've customized your search parameters, click the search button, and all of the matching properties will be shown.
Advanced Search Features
There are some advanced features you can take advantage of as well. Use of these features does require you to register. While you do need to supply basic information such as name and email address, your information is safe with us - we do not sell, trade or otherwise share your information with any outside vendors for marketing or other purposes, for specific information, please see our "Terms of Use".
Favorites
Once you have run a search, you can pick out the best matches for you and "Save them to Favorites" - that way you can have ready access to them without having to view all of the other properties.
SearchSaver
The "SearchSaver" feature is very helpful - you can initiate a search, then save that search, so you do not have to reenter criteria at a later time. You can also save several different searches making it easier to track several areas or feature lists.
E-mail Option
You can even have new matches emailed directly to you! When you activate the SearchSaver feature, you can elect to have any new and/or updated (price reductions etc.) emailed directly to you - you can be among the first to find out about new properties!
If you decide to pursue listed property
When you perform an MLS Search from GwinnettFSBO.com, you will be searching all of the available properties that are listed with Professional Real Estate brokers in the area as listed with GAMLS, FMLS or both. Remember, these agents and brokers have been engaged by the Seller to represent their interest in the transaction. If you are going to pursue listed property, you should be aware that you may also engage the services of a Real Estate Professional to represent your best interests in the transaction. The best part is that it typically costs you, the Buyer, nothing! The fees negotiated by the Seller and Listing Broker typically include fees to pay co-operating brokers - even if they represent the Buyer. Again, there is no cost or obligation for you to use this site, BUT, if you should decide to engage the services of a Real Estate Professional, I hope you will give me a chance to earn your business, that's all I ask!
